Behind every AI tool is a person deciding what to build, what to leave out, and what readers deserve to know. Mufy built getAIwork around a simple premise: finding legitimate AI work should not mean sorting through stale, duplicate, or pay-to-apply listings.
What Mufy built
GetAIwork is a free public board of AI jobs, gigs, and paid AI-training programmes. Mufy says every listing is reviewed by a person before it goes live, and filled listings are removed daily. Alongside the board, getAIwork offers practical AI-skills training and certification based on real project work, graded by a human.
Why he built it
Mufy, a computer-science engineer in Bangalore, grew frustrated with AI-work listings that were expired, duplicated, or required people to pay to apply. He built a screening pipeline, then kept human approval in the loop. According to Mufy, getAIwork has screened about 42,000 listings to keep roughly 1,500 live.
One lesson for builders
"Publish the number that does not flatter you."
For getAIwork, that number is the share of listings open to beginners: about one in eight, Mufy says. It is an awkward statistic for a service intended to help beginners. He would rather lose a sign-up than promise something the board cannot reliably offer. That candor is part of how he wants users to judge work.
